Abstract:

Many parties/experts involved in the project of developing the first nuclear power plant in Poland are sending quite contradictory messages suggesting 2025-2031 time horizon of the project. Some experts are even suggesting that the plant will not be put in operation before 2035. Who -- if anyone -- is to be believed? The seminar is an attempt to find the best guess from compilation of publicly available information, particularly regarding all procedural and legal issues which must be resolved before excavators get a green light to enter the construction site. The conclusions may be pretty surprising even for nuclear industry professionals.
