Abstract:

I will discuss the present status of supersymmetry after the null results of direct searches at the first run of the LHC. I will address issues of the naturalness of the theory and highlight a few misconceptions commonly found in the literature. I will argue that there is plenty of room for hope of a discovery in the 14 TeV run of the LHC, or in upcoming dark matter detection searches.
