Abstract:

A method to characterise materials based on the Rutherford Backscattering Spectrometry/ion channelling technique (RBSc) will be presented. Seminar will consist of two parts:

  1. Basics of the RBS/c technique and of the McChasy software code used to interpret experimental data.
  2. Some applications of the technique to structural studies of various materials, in particular ZnO implanted with rare-earth ions.

One of the seminar objectives is to search for opportunities for cooperation within NCBJ.
