Application of selected “Big Data” cloud solutions to science

Topics to-be presented during the seminar include:

(i)   the most interesting solutions developed to monitor distributed computer systems
(ii)  implementation of the Zabbix solution in the Pi of the Sky project
(iii) comparison of the most interesting cloud solution for cost-effective storage/analysis of big data
(iv) results of comparative tests of the Apache Spark/Apache Cassandra solutions with the so-far used data processing software.
