An open competition to fill up a vacancy

NCBJ opens up a competition for a position of Professor in NCBJ Radiation Particle Acceleration Physics & Technology Division (TJ1) located in Świerk. The successful candidate must meet requirements specified in par. 43 of Act on Research Institutes passed on April 30, 2010 (Dz.U.  96 pos. 618).

 

Requirements:

  • DSc degree in physics
  • documented scientific output in particle acceleration physics
  • experience in R&D works on superconducting accelerating structures, including such structures developed for large research facilities
  • experience in R&D works on medical accelerators
  • experience in working in large research teams, including international consortia
  • to manage teamwork
  • readiness to accept responsibilities of a tutor of a MSc/PhD student
  • experience in acquiring research grants.
