The National Center for Nuclear Research opens a competition for

Post-Doc position

in Theoretical Physics Division (BP2)

Localization: Warsaw, Pasteura 7

Description of tasks:

  • Scientific research on quark-gluon plasma dynamics 

The position is funded within the OPUS  program granted by the National Science Center, Poland, (NCN).

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. degree in Physics

The recruitment is open to candidates who, at the time of submitting their applications, do not have a diploma confirming PhD, but who have a fixed date for obtaining this title before the planned date of employment.

  • research experience in modeling quark-gluon plasma dynamics using methods of hydrodynamics, kinetic theory or string theory
  • excellect command of English
