IT network security specialist

NCBJ Department of Complex Systems (DUZ) is inviting computer science specialists to apply for a job in one of the largest computer clusters in Poland. Job responsibilities include to maintain IT security of the cluster and to develop cluster network infrastructure.

The cluster is located in Świerk. NCBJ offers free-of-charge bus transport from Warsaw, Otwock, and Garwolin.

Detailed requirements:

• Very good knowledge of all aspects related to designing/administering LAN networks (Ethernet, Infiniband), in particular network security, network delays, scalability of solutions.
• Professional experience with Linux operating systems, in particular Linux networking aspects and HA.
• CCNP certificate or equivalent practical knowledge of networking technologies (switches, routers, VPN, static/dynamic/OSPF/BGP routing, switching).
• Familiarity with the Nagios, Cacti, FTP, Apache, Tomcat, and OpenVPN services.

Additional assets:

• Knowledge of some scripting language (Perl, Python, Bash).
• Knowledge of topics related to virtualization (RedHat Enterprise Virtualization/Ovirt, VirtualBox).
