NCBJ opens up a competition for a contract to hold a position of

Assistant Professor

in NCBJ Department of Pure Research in Warsaw for a period of 2-years. The contract is extendable.

Field: theoretical physics

The successful candidate must meet requirements specified in par. 43 of Act on Research Institutes passed on April 30, 2010 (Dz.U.  96 pos. 618).

Detailed requirements:

  • PhD degree in mathematical physics
  • documented output in theory of gravitation/gravitational cosmology
  • international team work skills
  • good command of spoken and written English
  • skills in numerical computational methods (FORTRAN) and experience in work on UNIX-based computers
  • experience in research on classic and quantum dynamics of gravitational field.
