The National Centre for Nuclear Research opens the competition for the position of

Assistant professor (postdoc)
at Theoretical Physics Division

Location: 7 Pasteur Street, 02-093 Warsaw

2-year post-doc position in (astro)particle physics in the Particle Theory group of the Theoretical Physics Division at the National Centre for Nuclear Research in Poland

Job/tasks description:

  • working in a research team under the supervision of the project manager on tasks related to the implementation of the grant
  • preparing publications and conference presentations regarding the results obtained in the project and promoting research results
  • participation in the scientific life of the Theoretical Physics Division by participating in research seminars and completing required administrative activities

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in theoretical physics (obtained no earlier than in 2017 and no later than Fall 2024), 
  • documented research experience (publications, conference talks, etc.) in the field of theoretical particle/astroparticle physics or cosmology
  • good ability to communicate in English
