DIRAC users workshop2017.03.30 12:47 - admin
The workshop is a forum for exchange of information between developers, administrators and users of DIRAC, a distributed computing platform. A common access layer unifies the way of accessing various resources (Computing Grid, cloud etc.). DIRAC is mainly utilized by LHCb experiment, but finds its applications also in other projects outside physics, e.g. computing of medical data within the France Grille project.
The Warsaw-based NCBJ-LHCb group participates in developing DIRAC software. A significant computing power and storage have been made available for LHCb experiment run in CERN by Świerk Computing Centre (the so-called Tier2 node).
